The 2022 Photonics West, organized by the Society for International Optical Engineering (SPIE), has been held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, USA, from January 25th to January 27th. Our global team from USA and Germany attended the show. Focuslight's exhibition was featured with the high-power diode lasers, laser optics, and photonics application solutions in automotive LiDAR, semiconductor, home-use medical, and aesthetics in booth #927 at the South Hall of Moscone Center. We met customers and professional visitors worldwide. Our global sales team and technical experts had in-depth communication with them. At the same time, our technical experts were also invited to give presentations at the LASE Conference, which were well received by the audience. Academic Seminars ●?The Chief Scientist from Focuslight, Dr. Jason He, presented two papers at the LASE on January 24th and 25th titled in: - A high-power conductive cooling laser diode operating under intense pulse - Beam size adjustable high uniformity line beam diode laser system He presented the challenges and solutions of high-power conductive cooling laser diode arrays operating under intense pulse conditions, which brought great attention to the audience. The attendees were also very amazed by the result that Jason presented in the paper that over 97% line beam quality across over 10mm long length with such super high power density. ●?The R&D Director of Laser Optics Business Unit from Focuslight, Dr. Dirk Hauschild, also shared two presentations on January 25th titled in: - Scaling productivity and performance of laser materials processing with beam combining micro-optics - Multi-surface wafer-level optics for adaption of diode laser waveguide modes into application modes We are very excited to be able to finally meet customers and friends face to face after two years.
