Thursday, May 11, 2023, the 5th "Photonic Application Forum" hosted by Focuslight Technologies Inc. came to a successful conclusion at Focuslight (Dongguan) base. More than 30 well-known industry experts from China, Germany, France, and South Korea attended this forum and brought 34 wonderful academic reports to the audience. On the forum, industry leaders, academic professionals, investors, and well-known media exchanged ideas and insights on cutting-edge photonics technology and applications, and shared future application trends of photonic technologies.

About 400 people participated in the forum, and we opened five online live broadcasts for the main forum and four tech forums, total clicks exceed 6,500.

The 5th Photonics Application Forum

The forum opening remark was given by Wei Liu, the representative of the Dongguan Government, and Zuyan Xu, the Academician of CAE. Afterwards, Dr. Victor Liu, the chairman and CEO of Focuslight, presented "Overview of current progress and future strategy of Focuslight". On the main forum, Dr. Stephan Haneder, Head of PL Laser & Visualization/Senior Director of ams OSRAM, Guangcai Yuan, Dean of Display and Sensor Component Research Institue, BOE, and Dirk Hauschild, Senior Strategic Marketing Expert of Focuslight shared a series of informative industry analysis and reports.

Factory Tour

All guests are grouped to visit the exhibition hall, application laboratory, micro-optical production line, advanced materials production line, and other areas of Focuslight (Dongguan) base, which reveals Focuslight's cutting-edge technologies and mass-production and manufacturing capabilities.

Four Tech Forums

On the same day afternoon, four tech forums have been run in different auditoriums. The four tech forums are “Photonics Component Technologies and Their Applications”, “Photonics Technologies and Applications in Automotive”, “Photonics Technologies and Applications in Pan-Semiconductor Processing”, and “Photonics Technologies and Applications in Medical & Health”.

Moreover, Focuslight cooperated with CINNO Research to hold the first “Photonics Technologies and Applications in Pan-Semiconductor Processing” tech forum, to jointly explore the cutting-edge applications and market trends of laser optical technology in the pan-semiconductor manufacturing processing field.
